Founded in 1891, the Chartered Governance Institute works on improving the values, skills and proficiency needed for Chartered Company Secretaries and Chartered Governance Professionals. Operating with a global network of 14,500 members, the organisation has developed a wide reach from the United Kingdom all the way to the Middle East.
We are therefore delighted to partner with the Chartered Governance Institute, who have entrusted our team to deliver two different courses on their behalf. Firstly, courses for company secretary roles will be made available, aiming to inform people about the current expectations surrounding this position. The two part-course is focused on newcomers looking to build this into their business.
Further to this, courses pertaining to governance in both unlisted and private companies will also be supplied. Here, the focus is the importance of good governance and how this can add significant value both in the short and long-term.
The partnership will help enforce the significance of good governance, something which has been hugely prevalent during the pandemic. Many governance professionals have been instrumental with key decisions relating to social, political and economic challenges over recent times, and as we approach the return to a more conventional framework, we want to help lay the foundations for more highly competent governance professionals who can perform effectively no matter which obstacles they confront.
“We are proud to be working with the Chartered Governance Institute UK and Ireland to support the development and awareness of the governance profession as well as strengthen Company Secretarial and Governance teams.”
Erika Percival, CEO of Beyond Governance
