Daniel now resides in the US and has recently completed his Masters in US Law at George Mason University, Virginia. Prior to emigrating to the US, Daniel was the Head of the Corporate Governance Team at Vistra Corporate Law, where he managed a team of Company Secretaries providing a full suite of company secretarial services to listed companies. Daniel also acted as interim Company Secretary for a UK branch of a European Bank, helping to establish the required governance structures as it transitioned to a PRA-regulated subsidiary.
Previous to that he worked for Galliford Try plc (FTSE 250 Construction Group), Alent plc (FTSE 250 Specialty Chemicals Group), and Smiths News plc (FTSE SmallCap Newspaper Wholesaler). Daniel began his career undertaking a company secretarial training contract at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal.
Daniel is experienced in managing company secretarial teams, advising boards on corporate governance best practice and listing rules, implementing governance structures, corporate actions (including IPOs), drafting Annual Reports, managing AGMs, drafting and reviewing corporate documentation, as well as implementing and managing subsidiary governance arrangements.
