Our client, a large corporation, called us as they were potentially looking to hire a Governance Professional but were unsure of the scope for the role and the hours it would take. There was also apprehension on whether the role was required.
We came in, assessed what could be achieved and were engaged to carry out the work. We improved and streamlined the Board meeting process to bring it up to industry standard whilst also introducing new committees to speed up the decision-making process.
The complexities of their board dynamics and intricate organisational set up were only known when we joined the board meetings. We used this knowledge to recommend an appropriate level of support which maximised their return on investment. Our advice also included a few options to give context and perspective.
