Beyond Governance is delighted to announce its partnership with the Chartered Governance Institute UK and Ireland (the Institute).
The Institute assures world class standard of governance by setting the international qualifying standard. It is the only chartered professional body dedicated to supporting Governance Professionals.
Beyond Governance will be delivering two courses on behalf of the Institute:
- The Role of the Company Secretary; the role has evolved to become increasingly governance focussed and our course highlights the changes and brings delegates up to date on the current expectations of the role. This two-part training course is designed for those new to the governance profession or seeking to understand how to build a company secretarial/governance team; and
- Governance in Unlisted and Private Companies; governance is not just for listed companies, done well, it creates an advantage for any organisation. The course unpacks the importance of governance and how it can bring value.
Governance professionals have played a critical role in supporting boards to make the right decisions and pivot their organisations across many social, political, and economic challenges, including most recently the COVID crisis. As we move beyond the pandemic, governance will continue to contribute to society by supporting sustainable long-term decision making and by assisting the delivery of wider goals of diversity, climate, and ethical business practices. Through this partnership we are enabling Governance professionals to perform at their best.
