Lisa is an industrious and thoughtful Governance Professional with over 12 years’ experience in FMCG, Architecture and Financial Services in various FTSE listed and unlisted companies.

Lisa worked at Close Brothers Group plc where she was responsible for supporting subsidiary governance and administering the transition from in person to hybrid AGMs. At Premier Foods plc, Lisa was also involved in a major group-wide entity rationalisation project.

Experience

Prior to joining Close Brothers, Lisa held Company Secretarial Assistant positions at Broadway Malyan Limited, a global architecture, urbanism and design practice and Premier Foods plc, one of Britain’s largest listed food manufacturers. Previously she worked in an administrative role at Active Luton, a Community Wellbeing Trust.

Lisa also spent seven years in various roles at Aviva plc, a leading savings, retirement, and insurance business, where she progressed from data entry clerk to Team Manager. She has extensive experience in FTSE listed companies with expertise in a wide variety of company secretarial duties and intellectual property administration within the fast-moving consumer goods and financial services industries.

Victoria is no stranger to the boardroom and regularly advises boards, develops and delivers board induction programmes, provides ongoing director training and embeds effective and efficient boardroom practises and reporting making the best use of the board’s precious time.
Victoria is a qualified Executive Coach and an expert trainer with many years’ experience. She delivers tailored training for boards, and coaches chairs, directors, and her governance peers to succeed.

Victoria is an expert in board evaluations having designed and developed board effectiveness reviews for implementation on a global basis. She has supported on externally facilitated reviews, bringing in her expertise as a Coach to assess the behavioural elements that are often at play within boardroom dynamics.

Subsidiary Governance

Victoria understands that nothing gets done without measurement. She’s designed and developed governance framework schemata; built governance dashboards and KPIs; upskilled and streamlined in-house governance teams and embedded global governance principles that work in practice and comply with the differing international legal, regulatory, and cultural backdrop.She has managed multinational groups with over 1,500+ entities and has led entity rationalisation programmes where 200 subsidiaries were prepared for liquidation.

Share Scheme Adminstration

Andrew since joining Beyond Governance has supported a variety of clients, a large US listed company, FTSE250 fintech company to a large UK charity to fill-short term roles. He has previously held interim roles with a FTSE250 financial services company assisting with governance projects included delegated authorities, governance code gap analysis and supporting the board and committees of one of their major subsidiaries. He also assisted a listed financial services company implementing a delegated authorities policy and providing board and committee support.
