Sean is a versatile and experienced governance professional with 18 years of varied experience across a wide range of sectors including FTSE listed, local government, public sector corporations, charities as well as the highly regulated financial services sector including the Lloyd’s Market. Sean enjoys leading teams in fast paced and regulated environments.Located in central London, he is ideally positioned to attend in person and or on a hybrid basis.​

Experience

Successfully completed a 9-month interim placement at FTSE250 listed Ruffer LLP, a leading investment management firm based in St James Park, where Sean helped build and lead the CoSec function reporting into the Company Secretary.Sean’s more recent experiences include secretariat support for FTSE100 Nintey One plc, managing the Secretariat for aLloyds Managing Agent and secretarial support and a rationalisation project at JP Morgan Asset Management. He has experience of managing company secretarial functions in the financial sector as well as board management, board and committee evaluations, director onboarding and training. Sean’s most recent experience involved a group-wide entity rationalisation project for global asset manager. ​

Sean has extensive experience and a proven track record supporting boards and committees through proactive c-suite and stakeholder engagement. His international governance expertise ensures he holds a practical knowledge of governance regulatory requirements across a number of jurisdictions ranging from the UK, Europe and North America. ​
