Juliet is an adaptable and analytical Solicitor with over 25 years’ experience in the field of Governance in Automotive, Financial Services, Investment Trusts and Veterinary Services in various FTSE listed, AIM listed and unlisted companies.

Juliet worked at JP Morgan for ten years and was responsible for The Mercantile Investment Trust plc, a FTSE250 listed company, as well as other companies including JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust plc. She also has experience of working as General Counsel and Company Secretary at a major national charity.

More recently she has been Group Company Secretary and General Counsel at CVS Group plc, the acquisitive AIM-listed veterinary services group. Juliet started her career at H R Owen plc, the AIM-listed motor retail group, and as Company Secretary she was responsible for the Company’s transition to the FTSE All-Share index. Current engagements include a FTSE 250 Financial Services Group and a high profile public inquiry.

Juliet has consistently proved herself in interim roles, having the ability to lead a team and also fit seamlessly within it. Having taken responsibility for a wide variety of roles and projects, she can bring deep knowledge to the team and work efficiently with other to achieve goals within a timeframe.

Board Performance Reviews

Juliet has managed many of these as part of an annual process, and on an externally facilitated basis. The results will be realistic and achievable, with a focus on the review informing a continual process of self-improvement for boards.

Juliet has the experience and skill to deliver governance projects, from accurate and sensitive scoping to completion on schedule, and she understands how to work with others within the organisation to achieve this.

Corporate Reporting

Juliet has a deep knowledge of the Annual Report and the information which underpins it, including how to present information in the most compelling and accurate way.
